Training

Sustainable development as a model for society as a whole?

Education preview by Bernd Ferber

Sustainable education ESD is the magic word for sustainable development.

Development is sustainable when people around the world, now and in the future, can live in dignity and develop their needs and talents while respecting planetary boundaries.

"Fridays for Future", climate change, sustainable education and qualified immigration are hotly debated.

However, in terms of content, an interdisciplinary approach to the core topics of
environmental education, global learning, health promotion, human rights education
and economic fundamentalsisstill on the back burner in Germany due to the system, despite the innovative and energetic spirit of today's
18 to 24-year-olds.

New thinking and new work are the order of the day!
This is a wake-up call on the pulse of the times....when the crucial future skills, such as

Cultural competence
Scientific methodological competence
Ethical competence
and
Financial education

fall by the wayside because...

👉 we no longer understand each other in a global world.
👉 we are not taught to understand science and the future.
👉 there are major deficits in core digital skills.
👉 there is a failure to teach business management skills.
👉 little to no knowledge about starting a business is taught.

👉 Coding, artificial intelligence and the emerging metaverse are foreign concepts.

Bootcamps can only teach this to a limited extent. We want to provide support with the right tools and future skills, which is extremely neglected at a higher level.

🎯 Our aim is to introduce people to sustainable thinking and action.
